It is Friday the 13th. Is that a day for bad luck? If so, we must be stuck in a perpetual time warp of Friday the 13ths.. and all that. Bad luck is something that follows us around more than a blood thirsty mosquito.
However, there have been some recent developments that are pushing us towards exciting things. -- January 21st, we are meeting with a company based around the Little Rock area that has offered us a contract for recording and publishing, as well as booking and managing! Neither Adam nor I ever expected to have another opportunity, after being burned by the first sad and pathetic excuse for an independent label, but we are bouncing back quite nicely... I must say, due to my uncanny persistence to seek what I want. That's right... *pat on the back*. We are both very excited for this and cannot wait to see how it unfolds.
School starts in 4 days for me. My college classes will be both great and difficult, I am sure. But I am in a much better mindframe than I have been in the past few months. I attribute that to the simple truth that no matter what else is going on, things are right where they should be right now. Something that has felt missing for quite awhile.
Now, time for lunch!
